Santa just brought an early Christmas present to our house!

You give the girl a Fudgesicle...

And this is what you get!! WE couldn't believe how much of a mess Nora could make with one little fudgesicle...but I should known, she can't even eat one chocolate chip without drooling chocolate for the next five minutes! Ahh we love her!

Nora is also a cereal girl!

This is how I regularly find Nora. She is always in a box of cereal! It's actually driving me crazy that every time I turn my back she has found herself a box of cereal. Just the other day she dumped a whole box of Raisin Bran and I began looking for a new location for the cereal!! I haven't decided how to rearrange things yet and today when i saw her yet again i decided to take a picture because she really is so darn cute eating that cereal!

Decorating Pumpkins!

This was Our attempt at an evening of decorating pumpkins. We picked the pumpkins on a Monday and while we were at the pumpkin patch the kids started sounding really sick. I brought them home and they were coughing running fevers and the works. It was a nightmare and two days later I had been so wrapped up in sickness that the pumpkins were still sitting in the car. So with everyone dosed up on tylenol we were able to get everyone feeling ok to attempt the pumpkins. I put the picture of Ava coughing up because that is a true picture of what the night was really like! Art carved the big one and the girls painted theirs...And Nora was so cute except for the eating of the paint!

This is My Life!!

I was busy cleaning up the kitchen after breakfast...the girls had scattered and I was starting to wonder what everyone was up to! Maddie had made her way to the TV and Ava and Nora had made their way to the bathroom and by the time i had gotten to them they had makeup all over themselves. I thought oh good thankfully it's all in the bath tub. But then I went into my bedroom where Maddie was watching TV seeming oblivious to all that was going on and I noticed that there was lipstick smeared all over the TV and all over my bed sheets!!! And did I mention that in 5 mins I was having company for a play group at my house! So I cleaned the girls off and shut the bathroom door and put a smile on my face just in time to welcome our first guests! The mess waited until later and I thought to myself This is my Life....and I wouldn't change it for the world!

Happy Anniversary

Today Art and I celebrate 6 happy years of marriage!!! We went out last night and had fun looking back over our memories from the last 6 years!!! It's amazing how fast time passes!! It seems like only yesterday we were meeting for the first time. And now here we are a family with three beautiful daughters!!! SO today I am thankful for a loving husband who ALWAYS takes care of me, and is an AMAZING dad!! I am looking forward to many more years to come!!

Butterflys and Tigers!

We went to the zoo and stood in line for quite some time so the girls could get their faces painted!!! Maddie got a butterfly and Avas was a tiger! they looked so cute and I thought it was definatly worth the wait. We had a fun day adn I was impressed at how still Ava sat for the lady to paint her face!

Maddies first Day of School!

Maddie was so excited on her first day of school! She couldn't wait to get there. I was fine up until we got there and she started hanging up her backpack and I started crying!! There she was my first baby girl...old enough to start school!!! She had a great first day. Ava was a little sad at having to leave her sister there but we recovered and were very excited to go pick her up and hear about the first day!! She loves school and I am so happy about that. This is such a good experience for her...I'll be fine until next year when I'll be dropping Ava off too!!!!

Update...

Well...This week has been fun, getting Maddie for preschool. I am excited but nervous to send her off to preschool but she is so excited! I know it will be a good experience for her to be on her own a little and to meet some new friends! Art and I went to the parent orientation and got to meet her teachers and to see her classroom! It was a new experience for Art and I. We are very excited and proud as her parents as she is growing up to be such a beautiful and bright young lady. We are excited to see her growth this next year as she gets to assert some of her independance.

Harvest Time!

Art's Uncle has been kind enough to give us yummy corn on the cob from his fields...We decided to get a bunch and freeze it!!! We had a fun afternoon...Art and I along with his mom and the girls!! We each took a job! Nora's part was just eating...she was eating the corn off the cob raw it was so cute and funny! Art and I were goofing off taking pictures of each other doing our jobs!! The corn tastes awesome and we have been eating it like crazy!!!! We need to try and do a bunch more before the season is over!!! We thought 5 dozen would be enough but it is soo good we can't get enough!

Another fun adventure! The Kalahari!

Thanks to the Kitchen Family we scored some free passes to The Kalahari, this really great indoor water park. Art took the day off work and we were able to spend the whole day having tons of fun! We were a little nervous at first...seeing as our kids are so young and they might not be enough for them to do...but there was tons for all ages...and we just passed of the kids back and forth so Art and I could take turns on the bigger slides! Maddie did some pretty big slides the biggest they would let her do for her height! I was impressed with her courage. But is you ask her what her favorite part was..SHe will tell you it was the Hot Tub! Go Figure! They had this great indoor/outdoor hot tub and the kids couldn't get enough!! We had an amazing day and we are already talking about going back! Here are a few pictures. I didn't get as many as i had hoped...but it was kinda hard seeing as we were in water adn i really didn't want to ruin my fairly new camera!

What a Fun Summer!

WOW! I must say that I have really enjoyed the summer with the kids...It has been really nice to enjoy playing with the kids all summer and to NOT be having a new baby..since that is what I did the last two summers!! Here are some pictures from the county fair. It was youth day and all the kids got in free! We went and had a fun day despite the heat it was 94 degrees out and probably 100% humidity which made it feel even hotter. It was absolutly miserable...At one point I had to find myself a nice shade tree and hide from the sun as I was begining to get sick...of course my ride on th carousel didn't help that! Me and rides don't get along so well! In any case the kids didn't seem to mind the heat and enjoyed riding all the rides..and seemed to love when we poured water on their heads to keep them cool! THe kids also loved holding the 4-H bunnies too!! Enjoy!

First Birthday

Avas Barbie Cake!
With much craziness and a fun party we celebrated Avas 2nd birthday and Nora's first. I had lots of reflecting moments thinking about how my girls are growing up. We all had fun though and a week later I have finally recovered.

Seriously!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nora just took her first steps!!!!! it was so exciting she was taking 3 or 4 steps back and forth between Art and I. It was so stinkin cute. And she was loving all the attention she was getting for doing it!!!! Way to go Nora! Unfortunatly my camera's batteries were dead... of course! but I will take some photos soon! I was just so excited I had to share!

TIm and Faith Mania!

Last night was amazing! We went to see Tim Mcgraw and Faith Hill for their Soul2Soul tour! Nikki and I went and we had great seats! Faith is beautiful...Tim is Hott and they both can sing.. what more could anyone want! We had such a great time and even though I didn't make it home till 2:30 am and I exausted..it was well worth the money and time spent!! I am including some pictures and videos I got!! Because our seats were so good I was able to get some pretty good shots!!! ENJOY!
